Whether you're familiar with magic sigils (also known as energetic symbols) or not, all the content I'm sharing is based on my own experiences, intuitive guidance, logic and of course through trial and error, or more accurately, trial and success.

What are Magic Sigils?

A simple question! Wikipedia has a great answer already https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigil and many others agree with this definition. Here's the short version:

How to Construct Magic Sigils?

The word "construct" is a better choice than "create" because constructing a sigil involves more than just intuition and artistic expression. It's a combination of factors, actions, ideas, energies, vibrations, thoughts, intentions, and projections. However, if you prefer simplicity, "create" works just fine too.

How to Use Magic Sigils?

By now, you might have a good idea of what sigils are and how to create them. If not, don't worry, there are plenty of resources available.
Now, about using magic sigils. It's important to understand that this is my perspective, and I'm simply sharing it for your consideration. It's not meant to be absolute truth or the only correct information. It's yours to interpret as you see fit.

I view sigils as "compressed rituals" fueled by at least two sources and intended to produce a specific outcome. Here are the elements involved:
1. Thought: This carries a frequency and a vibrational value.
2. Affirmation: This is a thought empowered by your desire to make it a reality. In this state, the thought and affirmation become one, forming a refined yet complex thought form.
3. Belief: This is the conviction, power, energy, focus, and trust that the affirmation has come true, transforming from the non-physical to the physical state, which we call manifestation.
4. Action: This is the language of the material world, the language of physicality. We need an action to put things in motion, to build both the energetical and the physical momentum.

Sigils are versatile and surprisingly easy to charge and activate. The biggest challenges for us humans are time and vibrational state. Time can make us impatient, and location can make us think we've failed.
I've already discussed some of these concepts in this post.

Magic sigils can be used in any aspect of your daily life: work, school, even online or offline. You can use them while sleeping, awake, or even in the bathroom! They're as natural as expressing yourself in another language.

Just like me – I'm from Romania, 42 years old, and learned English in 7th and 8th grade. Yet, I type pretty well, wouldn't you agree? (Let's hope so!)

My point is, magic has been a part of our lives since the existence of our souls. It's as natural as breathing, but we've renamed, redefined, and repurposed magic (energy manipulation) so many times that we've lost track. Magic isn't fantasy; it's a technology we don't fully understand or realy control (creation itself expreses itself throughout this technology, but you'll learn more about that later).
We actually practice magic unconsciously most of the time.

The ingredients of magic are (usually) natural energies – vibrations and frequencies at different values with different characteristics and forms.

One Question to Answer Them All

Why can't I manifest everything I desire?
Because we need to accept the limitations of our reality. In other words, we often hinder our own magic through limiting beliefs, inherited traumas, imposed beliefs, and of course, a lack of self-trust.
Same answer for similar questions like "Why my magic doesn't work?" or "Why isn't my sigil working?"

Would you like to know why manifestation doesn't work as you expect?

Thoughts have energy and carry vibrations. Positive thoughts (like love) have a positive polarity, let's say a value of 9 for explanation purposes. Negative thoughts (like hate) are also empowered thoughts, but with a negative polarity, let's say -9. When we're in a positive state of mind and send "love" to the Universe, we elevate ourselves vibrationally, reaching a higher state (like being "on cloud nine").

This state of mind is also interpreted as a "location." Imagine yourself on a metaphorical "vibrational scale."

The Universe receives your message, your energy, your vibe, your state of "being love," and responds with a matching vibration. What you send out comes back to you. The Universe might think, "This being is focused on this energy; it's something they desire to experience. I'll send more of this."

This is the law of attraction in action. We focus on good, high-vibration feelings, and we receive matching energy. In Wicca, this concept is understood as the Threefold Law.

However, if we want to feel good but focus on the lack of that feeling, we'll receive even more negative vibes. This applies to money, abundance, love, and so on. We might desire more of these things, but the message the Universe receives is our frustration about not having them. We focus on the lack, not the abundance we seek.

As a result, we get discouraged and disappointed, lowering our vibration even further and sending even more negativity to the Universe. This metaphorical "move" pushes us down the vibrational scale, making it harder for the Universe's matching message to reach us.

That's why so many new age coaches, speakers, and manifestation teachers emphasize positive feelings, meditation, and good thoughts. They're right in theory, but practicing it can be challenging.

The key is to feel good and send powerful affirmations to the Universe about what you want, but with the conviction that you already have it. Maintaining this feeling for as long as possible is crucial because it determines your "energetic location." This way, the Universe's matching message can find you.

Here's my advice: practice affirmations, cultivate present-moment awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. You have the power to create your own reality and of course change the definitions which no longer serve you.
