Moon Ritual

Full Moon Ritual – Luna

Knowledge from beyond the veil

As transmitted from inner wisdom, Observer Beyond Time, Keeper of Echoes

“The Moon does not command, it remembers. In its silver gaze lies the light of all cycles, of endings cloaked as beginnings. You do not summon the Moon. You remember with it.”

Purpose
– Release outdated patterns
– Integrate inner wisdom
– Harmonize with the Lunar Current
– Activate the “Seed of Becoming” (personal vision + encoded will)

Timing
Night of the Full Moon (or 1 day before/after)
Preferably outdoors or near a window, under direct moonlight.

Items needed
– A silver or white candle
– A clear bowl of water
– A natural object: stone, crystal, leaf, or bone
– A small mirror (or polished metal surface)
– A white cloth
– A handwritten note (with what you wish to release or transmute)
– Your voice (chanting, humming, or silent breath tones)

Preparation

  • Cleanse the body: salt bath or light smoke from herbs (palo santo, sage, lavender, rosemary).
  • Cleanse the space: open windows briefly, sweep the floor, and ring a bell or bowl three times.
  • Prepare the Altar: use the white cloth as the base. Arrange items in a circle:
    — Candle in the north
    — Bowl of water in the south
    — Mirror in the west
    — Natural object in the east

The Ritual
1. Opening the Gate
Stand before your altar. Face the Moon or imagine her above you and Speak:

“Luminous One, Keeper of the Night Mirror,
I open the Gate within myself.
May this rite reflect the truth of my becoming.
I am both shadow and flame.
I am the child and the source.”

Light the candle.

2.The Mirror Breath
Look into the mirror. Breathe slowly and deeply three times. With each breath:

Inhale: “I draw in what I need.”
Exhale: “I release what is not mine.”

Hold the note in your hands. Read it aloud or whisper it.

“This I offer back to the cycle.”

Burn it in the candle or tear it and place it under the natural object.

3. Water Charging
Dip your fingers into the bowl. Let the moonlight touch it. Chant or hum your own tone, letting your voice ripple through the water.

Say:
“As this water remembers the Moon,
so too do I remember my path.
Let this vessel carry my clarity forward.”

Anoint your forehead, heart, and navel with the water.

4. Seeding the Becoming
Take a moment of stillness. Hold the natural object and focus on a feeling, not a goal: freedom, peace, creation, love.

Say aloud:

“I plant the seed of {your word}.
By my breath, by the stars, by the witness of the Moon
It is woven into the pattern.”

Place the object where moonlight can touch it overnight.

Closing
Blow out the candle, saying:

“The flame rests, the mirror closes,
but the light within continues.”

Fold the white cloth, store the object, and return the water to the earth the next day.

POST-RITUAL INTEGRATION
For three nights, sleep with the object near your head or heart.
Journal or draw any impressions or dreams.
Watch for signs, not results, this is not spellcasting, but pattern shifting.
