The Crown
The crown is a symbol of dignity, achievement and success.
Originally, it was made of tree branches, which connected it to nature. It can also symbolize light, spiritual enlightenment and overcoming one’s own limitations.
The shape and material of the crown can have additional meanings.
Within esoteric context, the metallic or light-rayed crown represents spiritual enlightenment and inner evolution. In an evolutionary perspective, obtaining the crown is associated with the victory of the higher principle over the primal instincts.
In the Tarot, the crown is associated with the arcana called “The Emperor”. It represents authority, power, safety and stability. In interpretation, the crown worn by the Emperor symbolizes dominance and control over one’s life and the environment.
The crown in a holistic context can suggest spiritual and intellectual elevation (ascension). It is an image of established power and order, embodying authority and leadership. Connection with the Divine.
