Bindrunes what are they?

Interesting subject inspired by a community member post… bind runes.

If you are not familiar with content of this website, let me add a short side note. I manage a private group on facebook and some of the subjects are interesting enough to share them on this site.

This is an example of two runes and the bind process.
Because the bind process requires a ritual I’ve choose to show only the visual representation of two runes (thus with three runes should of worked even better)

The rune ᛏ is called “Tiwaz” and is associated with the Germanic god Tyr, who is often linked to concepts such as justice, courage, and sacrifice. This rune can indicate a confrontation with an important decision or a moment of conflict, but also opportunities to demonstrate courage and integrity.
The rune ᛗ is called “Mannaz” and is associated with humanity, cooperation, and collective consciousness. This rune can indicate the need to collaborate with others or to focus on interpersonal relationships and the community in general.
When combined, the Tiwaz and Mannaz runes can indicate the need to use leadership qualities and courage to promote the common good and to resolve conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.

Bind rune – is a method of staking (one on top of the other), linear aligning (one in continuation of another) or circular aligned (radial bind) of different runes to form a single symbol.

Linear method can use the axes as common root of the bind or stack line. The circular type of bind has a central “origin” from which all other runes emanate… (usually called shield when used as defence talisman)

What can be done with runes? Talismans, charms, spells, sigils, cryptic messages, tattoos, divination… so on….

PS: I’m not an expert in runes and bindrune methods but they do have a certain appeal (the entire nordic culture)… from fairies to vikings, myths and legends, a wonderful culture to explore
