Shadow work example

While scrolling down on facebook (yes, I spend time on facebook, yes I work from home, yes I know it is called Meta now, yes…_________add your stuff… and I’ll agree)… so I was scrolling and I’ve seen this image with this text on it… and said to myself, here you go, a wonderful opportunity to post an example of shadow work and not from an obvious situation but applied to a “uplifting” set of idea.

Again, this is my perspective and nobody needs to agree or disagree with it.

A fair acknowledgement but it is made from a negative belief, from the energy of fear, energy of survival (which also carries the negative aspect) so it is not so “uplifting and empowering”.

What if we can truly empower this idea with more than nice words?
So let’s split it into small pieces, much easier to understand.

“In 2024 walk away from people who put you down.”

Well, never allow people to have access to your inner being. In other words, don’t allow others’ to be able to manipulate your own feelings and emotions by aligning yourself to external conditions. What happens within you it is yours to handle, deal with and only you should have access to that. (that’s a Sadhguru teaching moment).

Conditioning yourself in that manner is a choice. Why would you choose to allow somebody else or some other event trigger feelings within you which you have no controle off and .. allow to crash you, to put you down?

But let’s say you have reached that state in which people put you down… how you get up?

Reaching the bottom, that pain, that trauma, that level of discomfort, that disappointment, lack of self-trust, that state which nobody likes can be the ramp to take off, the raw energy to changed into the most uplifting state one can experience. How?

By changing the definitions. You were there, that “basement” … reached the bottom… if for a second, no longer, just a second you were/are able to look within and not outside to be validated by the environment you are in, for a second look at real you, within yourself, you will remember that you are a soul, an immortal soul which has its own divine light, which shines through the deepest bottoms, the darkest times, you are that light which helped you reach that “down” and see who you are in that deep darkness…

When for that second you remember that you have the divine grace within you and all you reached is just another experience from which you will get out… in that second something will change, in that second you self-realize that the situation in which you were/are was to show you that you were/are strong enough to experience it as it was, now redefine it as a lesson, an experience which showed you what you don’t like and by contrast as Bashar will say, you know even better what you like.

The darkest moments also bring the best clarity.

People don’t put you down… look at it from your soul’s perspective, see their sacrifice and agreement to play the role of someone who does you wrong, understand that they love you so much that they decided to forget that love and allow you to learn a lesson, allow you to experience, grow and reach that “down” which didn’t harmed your immortal soul in any way, but a bit roughed up your Ego and thought your soul a new experience, guided you to a new understanding, clarity, momentum, offered you the opportunity to choose that new clarity. So, cherish those souls who made these sacrifices even if their psychical form can’t remember. They played their role.

“Walk away from fights that will never be resolved.”

By definition a fight is a type of conflict, a conflict is interaction between (at least) two opposites, which means that the conflict is generating the manifestation of duality.

We are in a world, in a school which needed to explore this theme, the duality, the contrast but if you understand that the duality, the contrasts are first and foremost a state of perspective you will understand that there is You, the Observer, the 3rd point in duality which transforms it into a trinity.

I will explain this in a very distilled version. Duality can’t exist if there’s no Observer.

Who defines the contrasts? black and white, good and bad, darkness and light are defining themselves only when they are interacting, therefore, the Observer can define them both.

It is a matter of choice to take part of a fight because means you are no longer the observer but taking a side.

Don’t take sides, or understand the both sides so there’s no conflict to be resolved.

“Walk from trying to please people.”

Why would you want to try to please people in the first place?

Do you have something to gain from that action? And the rhetorical question has an answer: Yes!

There are at least three main aspects for which one would try to please people:

1. for boosting their negative aspect of their Ego… so I will help, I will please you in order to gain, to receive your appreciation, to be seen, to be accepted, to be heard, to get attention and because we are on a social platform… to get interaction….

2. for survival purposes, because of a masked or obvious fear

3. empaths. Because one understands the idea of help and compassion in a more “earthly” way. I want to please you so you may feel good, better.

“The more you walk away from things that poison your soul, the healthier you will be.”

The truth? Not so easy to simply walk away, just like that so the thing with “healthier you will be” is simply a wishful thinking because it never works.

Instead of running away which by the way is a huge step back and a real punch to your own self esteem, try not to focus on the bad and find at least one aspect which serves you in a positive way. Doing this, you basically handle the situation in a positive way by not running (would be useless anyway, because the same issue will come around and hit you even harder).

Focus on changing the energy from which you see the issue because if you think it is all bad, that is what you will experience, all bad.

Don’t buy into the idea of your soul being so weak and helpless, remember how immortal you are, the poison can hurt only the Ego but never your soul…. in the same context one might heard of “the dark night of the soul” … there’s no such thing…. Soul doesn’t have, doesn’t experience “that dark night” but the Ego does.

Aspects of the Ego are the ones experiencing all the pain and trauma because Ego is like your mobile phone or better yet a virtual reality headset for your Soul, the source of perspectives which co generate experiences for the Soul.

Thank yourself later when you understand the meaning and not just the words.

PS: yes, these concepts sound like transmutations, alchemizations experiences which any shadow worker would of resonate at some level, but at the end, it doesn’t really matter because all paths end up with the same result… the journey itself can be a pleasant one or full of challenges.
